Instead of highlighting sales and memberships, the AI version reframed my experience to show how those same skills apply to helping people in sensitive environments. The biggest change between the two resumes was the tone and audience. My original resume was designed for customer service positions, while the new version was tailored toward careers involving advocacy, support, and trust. This showed me that many job skills can transfer into different industries when presented correctly. Through this process, I learned that prompt engineering is about being specific with goals and audience. AI works best when given clear direction about what role you are targeting and what strengths should be emphasized. It also taught me how important wording can be when presenting experience professionally.
